Hotel Anuttara is a family run boutique hotel, created by a Buddhist Family whose life has long been intertwined with the Monastery Culture of Boudhanath.
Our name, "Anuttara," is a Sanskrit word meaning "The Highest," a concept that guides everything we do. It speaks to a state of ultimate clarity and profound inner stillness, the very essence we seek to create for you.
Inspired by the quiet discipline and deep mindfulness of the monastic tradition, we envisioned Anuttara as a sanctuary. A place where you can truly slow down, exhale deeply, and rediscover your connection—to yourself and to the vibrant world around you.
